MNS has provided various legal opinions and advice on issues affecting land transport modes including rail, buses and taxis. In particular, MNS has provided legal services and advice to government departments and agencies on amongst others the following statutes: National Land Transport Transition Act No. 22 of 2000; Railway Safety Regulator Act; and Gautrain Management Agency Act. We have also provided legal opinions and advice on the following: the development of the Monorail Project in collaboration with overseas partner; the construction of the Pan Africa Taxi and Retail centre; various Public Private Partnership ('PPP") Agreements concluded by South African National Roads Agency Limited ("SANRAL") on the construction, operation and maintenance of National Toll Roads in South Africa; and the roll out of the Integrated and Interoperable Fare Management Systems. We have acquired a deep understanding of this area of the law as a result of our extensive involvement in various Transport projects and the various legal services we have rendered.
